Recipe tiers measure net Cash per crafting cycle after ingredient opportunity costs. A recipe with high output price but rare ingredients may rank below a modest recipe you can run continuously without starving other production lines.

Machine time matters. Recipes that clog slow machines rank lower than recipes matching machine throughput even if per-unit price is slightly lower. Think in batches per hour, not single craft margin.

Flavored Milk Tiers

Early flavored milk recipes teach machine mechanics and beat raw milk sales with minimal ingredient complexity. These occupy mid tiers until advanced flavors unlock.

• A Tier: strong runners-up when S-tier ingredients are depleted
• B Tier: learning recipes or bridge crafts between unlocks

Cake and Event Recipe Tiers

Cake recipes generally sit high in overall rankings because they consolidate multiple ingredients into one high-value sale. Complexity lowers effective tier if your farm cannot sustain ingredient throughput described in the cakes guide.
